Cancellation Policy

This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By booking a class with the Lope Ariyo Cookery School, you agree to the terms below.

Cancellations by You

7 or more days before the class date — Full refund

If you cancel your booking 7 or more days before the scheduled class date, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

More than 48 hours but less than 7 days before the class date — Monetary voucher

If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before the class date but less than 7 days before, you will receive a monetary voucher to the value of your booking. This voucher can be used toward any future class offered by the school. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are non-transferable.

Less than 48 hours before the class date — No refund or voucher

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice before the scheduled class date are not eligible for a refund or a monetary voucher. We are unable to make exceptions to this policy.

Non-attendance without notice

If you do not attend the class and have not contacted us in advance, no refund or voucher will be issued.

Partial Refunds

A partial refund will be issued in one specific circumstance: where the price of a class is reduced after you have made a booking, and the class has not yet taken place. In this case, we will refund the difference between the price you paid and the new lower price. Partial refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If you have used a gift voucher to pay for a class that you subsequently cancel:

• Cancellations 7 or more days before the class: the value will be returned as a new monetary voucher
• Cancellations more than 48 hours but less than 7 days before the class: a monetary voucher will be issued as above
• Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice: no voucher or refund will be issued

Transfers

If you are unable to attend a class, you may transfer your booking to another person at no extra charge, provided you notify us at school@lopeariyo.com at least 48 hours before the class date. Please include the name of the person who will attend in your message.

Cancellations by the School

In the event that the Lope Ariyo Cookery School cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid within 5–10 working days. We will also offer you the option to transfer your booking to an alternative date where one is available.

We are not responsible for any costs you may incur as a result of a class cancellation, including travel or accommodation costs.

Corporate and Private Bookings

Corporate and private event bookings are subject to separate cancellation terms agreed at the time of booking. Please refer to your booking agreement for details.

How to Cancel

To cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible at school@lopeariyo.com with your booking reference and the reason for cancellation. We aim to respond to all cancellation requests within 2 working days.
